We are seeking someone to fill an open position of answering phones, completing access requests, and being able to complete other routine reports.

  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC.

  • Must be skilled in Microsoft Office/Excel.

  • Experience with ADP/Payroll would be preferred.

  • Shipyard industry preferred.

  • Ability to multi-task is required.

  • Starting pay is $17 - $20 per hour depending on experience.

We are seeking Office Administrative Assistant to perform secretarial work to support the Contract Managers/Estimators.

Primary Duties:

  • Develops, implements and maintains processes and activities to assure an efficient, effective, compliant and responsive organization within a fast-paced environment

  • Maintains records, files and other organizational data

  • Develops and generates routine reports

  • Answers and addresses calls received in office environment

  • Completes word-processing, formatting, and filing

  • Ensures optimal clerical and administrative functions, timely preparation of internal and external reports

  • Implements and organizes records management processes and procedures

  • Monitors and maintains supplies within budgetary parameters. Completes special order requests.

  • Other duties as assigned



  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Advanced degree in business or related field preferred.


  • Minimum of two years’ experience in administrative/office setting

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

  • Proficient in Adobe Pro

  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC badge

  • Knowledge of Navy ships preferred

  • Background in government contracts preferred

  • Knowledge of ADP/Payroll background to assist in payroll functions.

  • Skilled in prioritizing tasks to ensure projects are successfully completed within established deadlines

  • Skilled in MS Office suite and other software products

  • Skilled in verbal and written communication

  • Skilled in editing skills with exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
