MW-212 / $40,914 - $73,632 annually
MW-213 / $43,784 - $78,790 annually
MW-214 / $46,842 - $84,302 annually

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the operation a wide variety of equipment necessary to perform construction, maintenance and grounds work on all Camp Villere facilities. Responsible for maintaining and making minor repairs to roadways, ditches and culverts. Maintain Training Area grounds, Bivouac sites and support Cantonment Area ground maintenance. Responsible for delivery and pick up of equipment from dealers and other installations as needed. Responsible for operator level maintenance on all equipment. Report deficiencies to the supervisor and mechanic and track repairs. Ensure equipment is properly and safely repaired. Operator is responsible for the safety of the equipment, loads, the surrounding personnel and property. Maintain equipment attachments, accessories and ensure their serviceability. Must be able to work after hours, weekends and during emergency events as needed. Serves as the installation point of contact supporting Facility Engineers and contractors performing construction and maintenance activities at Camp Villere. Must support warehouse deliveries, grounds crews, tree trimmers, other agencies and units. Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
5 years' experience operating heavy equipment. Skills and ability to operate and perform operator maintenance on the following equipment: HD Pickup Truck with Various Trailers, Backhoe, Track-hoe, Excavators, Dozers, Telehandler with Forklift & Grapple Bucket, Skid Steer with various ground attachments, Tractors with Bush-Hog and other ground attachments safely and effectively. Must be familiar with the operation and basic maintenance of riding mowers, weed eaters, chain saws and other grounds equipment.

GENERAL: Must have a valid Driver's License, Social Security Card and Birth Certificate. Must qualify to obtain a Department of Defense Common Access Card (CAC) Card. Periodic travel may be required. Must be available to report to duty during emergency or disaster situations. Must have the ability to work and communicate effectively with agency personnel, peers, superiors, subordinates and the public.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must meet physical requirements to perform functions of the position. Must attend/complete all LMD annual training and other training required for the position. Must adhere to the Code of Ethics and foster a Sexual Harassment-Free Environment.
