Perform full-scope commercial plumbing installations from underground/rough-ins, stack-out, to trim-out

Interpret blueprints, P&IDs, isometrics, and building specifications to determine material requirements and job sequencing

Install hangers and supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to system installation

Install piping systems for water, gas, compressed air, medical gas, and other liquid utilities
-
Cut openings in walls, floors, and ceilings to run pipes and conduits using hand and power tools
-
Join piping systems using soldering, brazing, threading, fusion welding, solvent welding, and mechanical couplings
-
Use and work with a variety of piping materials including copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, and PEX

Set and install specialty equipment such as grease traps, decontamination tanks, oil interceptors, lint interceptors, and utility hookups

Conduct pressure testing (hydrostatic/pneumatic), leak checks, and flushing for system commissioning

Collaborate with QA/QC and commissioning teams to ensure systems meet performance and code compliance

Maintain clean and safe job sites; follow all safety standards and proper use of PPE

Assist other trades as needed during integrated mechanical system installation

Document progress, inspections, and test results for system turnover packages

3+ years of experience as a commercial or industrial plumber; commissioning/startup experience is a plus

Solid knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and best practices

Proficient in interpreting schematics, shop drawings, and job site specifications

OSHA 10 certification

Must have own tools and PPE

Ability to work in elevated, confined, and outdoor environments

Strong work ethic, communication skills, and ability to work independently or in a team

Reliable transportation to job sites
