Job Responsibilities

  1. Assures that tank/compartment has an updated safe for hot work ticket and that requirements of the ticket have been met.
  2. Assures that conditions of the tank/compartment have not changed since the ticket was written.
  3. Assures that a Work Authorization Form (WAF) ticket is on the job site and that it is for the specific job being accomplished, no work will be accomplished without a WAF posted at location of repairs.
  4. Assures that any other safety issues are complied with that relate to the specific job being accomplished.
  5. Assures that you are trained or qualified for the work you are assigned to do.
  6. Assures that you and personnel working under your direction are working as safely and as productively as possible maintaining quality control at all times.
  7. Assures that the job site is left in a safe and clean condition prior to departure.
  8. Assures that personnel have a work package and the necessary drawings, technical manuals, or specifications required for them to adequately accomplish their work assignments.


  1. Must be willing to travel and have reliable transportation.
  2. Must have reliable record of attendance and punctuality and be available for overtime as required.
  3. Must be able to physically transit all areas of the facility.
  4. Must have good eye/hand coordination.
  5. Must be familiar with working in a naval-ship-work-environment and be able to go aboard marine vessels • These areas can be dirty, dusty, hot or cold, and noisy.
  6. Must have or soon acquire a valid passport.


Associate Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Background Check
  • Able to Lift 50 pounds
  • Drug Test
  • Must be at least 18 years old
Salary35.00 Hour
