Workify Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical work, including installation, maintenance, and renovation of electrical systems. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints, using hand tools, and working with low voltage systems.
Pay Up to $32/hr
Per Diem is $80/days worked
Responsibilities
*Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
*Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.
*Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues.
*Work on construction sites to build new electrical installations or renovate existing systems.
*Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes during all electrical work.
*Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless project execution.
*Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement.
Qualifications
*Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician or similar role in the electrical field.
Strong knowledge of electrical theory, low voltage systems, and industrial electrician practices.
*Proficiency in using hand tools, benders, and testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
*Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
*Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
*Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
