Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrician Foreman who is bilingual (English/Spanish) to lead and oversee electrical projects in an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial electrical work, strong leadership abilities, and the capability to communicate effectively with both English and Spanish-speaking team members. The Industrial Electrician Foreman will be responsible for coordinating electrical installations, troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with electrical codes, and managing a team of electricians and apprentices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of electricians and apprentices on industrial electrical projects.
- Coordinate and plan daily work activities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings to ensure proper installation of electrical systems.
- Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs of industrial equipment, machinery, and electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and supervisors in both English and Spanish.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
- Order and manage materials and tools needed for each job site.
- Provide training and guidance to less experienced electricians or apprentices.
- Conduct safety meetings and ensure all work is performed in accordance with OSHA regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) – Required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an industrial electrician.
- Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and industrial equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Strong understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to train, mentor, and direct electricians and apprentices.
- Proficient in using electrical testing equipment and hand/power tools.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with industrial control panels, PLCs, and motor controls.
- Knowledge of high-voltage systems, transformers, and industrial power distribution.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Work Environment:
- May work in various industrial settings including data centers, manufacturing plants, warehouses, and construction sites.
- Exposure to loud noises, machinery, and varying weather conditions depending on the worksite.
- May require lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
