Pay: $65.89 per hour, plus $100 per day per diem for days worked

Position Overview

Performance Personnel Services is seeking Licensed Journeyman Electricians with utility-scale solar experience for a project in Dagsboro, Delaware. The role supports electrical installation on a commercial utility-scale solar project. Start is immediate. Candidates must hold a current and valid Journeyman Electrician license and have at least two years of utility-scale solar experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate and test electrical systems on a utility-scale solar project
• Install conduit, cable and wiring, and make terminations, in accordance with project plans, specifications and applicable codes
• Support installation of solar array electrical components, including DC and AC wiring and connections
• Perform grounding and bonding work
• Read and follow electrical drawings, schematics and project specifications
• Work safely and follow all site safety rules, including PPE and LOTO requirements
• Work with foremen, superintendents and other trades to meet project schedules and quality standards
• Maintain tools and keep the work area clean and safe

Requirements

• Current and valid Journeyman Electrician license (required)
• Minimum of 2 years of utility-scale solar experience (required)
• Ability to start immediately (required)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and electrical safety practices
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to a strong work ethic
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and to perform physical work on a construction site
• Own hand tools and appropriate PPE

Compensation

• $65.89 per hour
• $100 per day per diem, paid for days worked
