- Pay: Staring at $90k a year (increased based on relevant experience)
- Shift: M-F / 8-5
- Relocation possible for the right candidate (Up to $10k)
Requirements:
- MUST pass a criminal background check and drug screening prior to hiring!
- Must have experience with Industrial Machinery: high voltage, rewind, mining, large motor experience, quotations, customer interface, etc.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a High School diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the repair of motors and generators)
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in craft labor
- Minimum 5 years of Machine Motor, Machine Generator, Service Center, or Manufacturing experience
- A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Union relations experience
- SAP Experience
- Ability and willingness to work in a shop environment
Duty Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement service repair plans, goals, and objectives for this product line for every M&G-related job in the shop
- Order needed parts, set up deliveries as well as site pickups
- Assigns work scopes/tasks to technicians either directly or through the work leader (lead technician)
- Be the customer interface assist the sales team with customer visits and provide technical
- Work with craft labor to develop job costs for quoting customers
- Manages employee time (assigns shift, approves paid time off)
- Write comprehensive customer repair reports which may include root cause analysis
- Drive productivity, cycle reductions, service level
- Perform project management for onsite repairs and installations
- Provide technical and quoting support to the motor and generator segment
- Improve quality assurance and drive consistency/adherence to quality procedures and requirements consistent with Industrial Repair Services processes and procedures
- Utilize the quality system to log shop issues and drive resolution (be the last line of Quality inspection before shipping product or final repairs)
- Provide customers with proactive motor and generator technical and problem-solving support
- Work with and lead motor and generator workforce to track and resolve HSE safety concerns
