Job Title: Electrical Superintendent (Commercial/Retail Construction)
Location: Texas or Southeast US (Remote)
Job Type: Full-time, Salary

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead and oversee field operations across multiple commercial and retail construction projects. This key role ensures the success and safety of all ongoing work while providing insight into productivity and project performance metrics. You'll work closely with field teams, manage manpower, and drive operational excellence through hands-on supervision and strategic oversight.

Location & Travel

  • Open to candidates based in Texas or the Southeastern United States

  • 100% Travel Required – Must be able to travel throughout Texas and the Southeast, often on short notice and for extended periods

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise all field activities and support Field Managers in planning and executing project scopes

  • Manage manpower resources and ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met across projects

  • Review project plans, identify constructability issues, suggest value engineering opportunities, and assist with layout and installation planning

  • Collaborate with internal teams on prefabrication planning and execution

  • Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with procurement, material scheduling, and staging plans

  • Help set initial project goals and monitor ongoing progress

  • Conduct productivity analyses using internal performance tools

  • Support development and maintenance of CPM and short-term look-ahead schedules

  • Evaluate field personnel performance and coordinate training as needed

  • Monitor labor hours and provide guidance to ensure work is completed within budgeted timeframes

  • Collaborate with client field teams to solve project-specific challenges

  • Monitor company project backlog and align workforce levels accordingly

Position Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the electrical field

  • Minimum 5 years in a Superintendent-level role

  • Experience managing project scopes of $10–20 million

  • OSHA 30 Certification

  • NFPA 70E Certification

  • Active Journeyman or Master Electrician License (State Certified)

Compensation

  • Salary and bonus range: $130,000–$150,000
