Electrician

360X Staffing is hiring for Industrial and Commerical Electricians for a Solar Field/Plants being built in Upstate New York. We have multiple jobsite locations that we are needing qualified electricians for the next 3+ months. 

YOU MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE:

Electricians working on solar field construction projects are responsible for installing, connecting, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment that support photovoltaic (PV) solar arrays. Work is performed outdoors in utility-scale solar farms and includes both low-voltage and medium-voltage systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install underground and above-ground electrical conduit and cable trays for PV systems.

• Pull, terminate, and test DC wiring from solar panels to inverters.

• Install and connect inverters, combiner boxes, and other electrical equipment.

• Assemble, wire, and install AC/DC disconnects, switchgear, transformers, and panelboards.

• Perform terminations for medium-voltage (MV) equipment and coordinate energization with utility providers.

• Use tools such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and other testing equipment to ensure code-compliant, safe installations.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and site plans.

• Adhere to NEC, OSHA, and project-specific safety standards at all times.

Qualifications:

• Journeyman-level electricians under supervision, depending on job scope.

• Experience with utility-scale solar or large commercial electrical projects preferred.

• Familiarity with PV system components, grounding requirements, and string configuration is a plus.

• Must be able to work in outdoor conditions and lift heavy equipment.
