Job Description

This is a remote position.

 

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pipefitter to join our dynamic construction team on high-profile infrastructure and industrial projects. As a Pipefitter, you will play a critical role in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of piping systems that support essential operations across commercial, industrial, and municipal facilities. This role demands precision, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards. You will work closely with engineers, welders, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of piping systems into complex structures, contributing directly to project timelines, system efficiency, and long-term operational reliability. This is a hands-on, field-based position requiring physical stamina, problem-solving ability, and a proven track record in construction environments.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine piping layouts and installation requirements 
  • Measure, cut, thread, bend, and fit pipes using hand tools, power tools, and precision equipment 
  • Assemble, install, and align piping systems  
  • Perform welding, brazing, and soldering operations in accordance with industry codes and safety standards 
  • Conduct inspections and pressure testing of installed piping systems to ensure integrity and compliance 
  • Collaborate with project teams to troubleshoot installation issues and resolve technical challenges on-site 
  • Maintain accurate records of materials used, work performed, and quality control checks 
  • Adhere strictly to OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and company safety policies at all times 
  • Support project scheduling by completing tasks efficiently and proactively communicating progress 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Pipefitter in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure construction environments 
  • Valid certification in pipefitting preferred 
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints 
  • Experience with a variety of pipe materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, and PVC 
  • Strong knowledge of pipefitting tools and equipment, including threading machines, benders, and alignment tools 
  • Demonstrated ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in physically demanding conditions 
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments 
  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade school diploma or apprenticeship in pipefitting is highly desirable 
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site at various construction locations 

Pay & Benefits:

  • Pay rate is dependent on experience and valid certifications held.
  • Travel pay, per diem, and hotel accommodations are provided.
