Job Description Summit Skilled Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Assembly Technician to join our client’s production team. In this role, you'll assemble, solder, test, and repair electronic components in a hands-on manufacturing environment. You'll also support shipping/receiving tasks and assist with other facility operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform light electronic assembly, including hand soldering of components on PCBs
  • Inspect finished products and materials for quality and compliance before shipment
  • Collaborate with operations, product management, and quality teams to identify and resolve issues
  • Support shipping and receiving processes, including completing bills of lading
  • Maintain clean and organized workspaces and follow all safety protocols
  • Report defective materials or unusual conditions to the Production Supervisor
  • Adhere to all company policies related to safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Assist with general labor or other tasks as directed by the supervisor
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; trade school certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of soldering experience with electronic components
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics
  • Basic computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication and time management skills
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work independently with minimal supervision
