We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team and contribute to our mission of building safer roads.

Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Wages: $24-$26 (w/ CDL), $18-$22 (w/o CDL)

Position Overview: As a Heavy Equipment Operator at HJC, you will play a crucial role in our operations, utilizing your expertise to operate a variety of heavy machinery. We are specifically looking for individuals who are proficient in operating Large Excavators, Front End Loaders, Maintainers, and Motor Graders. This is an opportunity to showcase your skills and be a key player in our commitment to road safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Large Excavators, Front End Loaders, Maintainers, and Motor Graders with precision and efficiency
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project success
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
  • Travel within Texas (Monday through Friday)

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience operating Large Excavators, Front End Loaders, Maintainers, and Motor Graders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Commitment to safety and teamwork
  • Class A CDL license preferred but not required
  • Previous experience in road construction or related field is a plus
