Our View on Safety
We fully understand the hazards associated with an active job site. We are committed to keeping our employees -- and our client’s employees – safe.
As a condition of hire, we require all of our tradesmen to attend a 10-hour OSHA class. Additionally, we have the ability to teach this course ourselves, and we are more than happy to train your permanent employees, as well.
We also feel it’s important to issue personal protective equipment (PPE) to all of our employees at no cost to them. In conjunction with this, we make sure employees understand the purpose and use of the PPE issued to them. We stress that PPE must always be in good working order.
Our comprehensive safety plan includes:
- Pre-employment drug screening
- Incident reporting
- Additional drug screening (as required)
- New employee safety orientation
- 10 Hours of OSHA instruction
- CPR/First aid certification
- Background checks
- E-Verify program for Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC)
